mugison is a nomadic Icelander who sings in English and travels the world picking up musical fragments like a crazy beachcomber. So Sad As A Truck sounds like falling-apart Beck, The Chicken Song combines nonsensical lyrics and electronic bass, and the duets with his girlfriends, such as 2 Birds, mix recordings of running water with sensitive guitar strumming. It's all very awkward, and Mugison's generic mid-Atlantic voice means that in terms of inspiration it falls some way short of, say, Devendra Banhart.
